I’m tired of elections that punish honesty. Under “Choose One” voting, we’re forced to abandon our favorite candidates just to block the ones we fear. That’s not democracy.

Approval Voting would let us support every candidate we like without splitting the vote. It rewards broad support instead of loud extremes. Fair elections should allow voters to express their real preferences. Please consider reforms that allow Approval or Combined Approval Voting in future elections. We need a system that measures consensus, not division.

A good article about approval voting can be found at:

Approval Voting encourages cooperation instead of conflict. Candidates can’t just attack opponents; they need to earn second and third approvals from moderates and independents. That’s how we get campaigns about ideas, not insults.

Every time I watch debates, I feel like I’m seeing a shouting match between brands, not leaders. A system that rewards broad approval would make campaigns more civil. It’s time to modernize our elections so candidates reach across lines instead of deepening them. Please help make elections less divisive. Fairness means everyone’s opinion counts, not just those aligned with the major parties. Under plurality voting, minority viewpoints are erased before they’re even measured. Approval Voting records real support for reformers, moderates, and outsiders. That’s healthy competition.

We can’t cure political dysfunction by locking in the same two parties in power forever. Let’s try a system that measures agreement instead of fear. The fairer our elections, the stronger our democracy. For details, please read https://voters.army/approval-voting-and-combined-approval-voting/
