Two Parties are Not Enough to Represent America

Voters and Politicians Need More Choices

Are you satisfied with either of our major parties?
Pro Choice? Your party cannot choose what the hell it wants to do.
Pro Life? Your party has long favored billionaires and giant corporations.

Why Our Political System Fails

Three flaws protect the elites by locking in two-party rule.

1) Major Party Primaries

In most states, only two or three parties can hold primary elections. The system excludes all other parties.[12] Major party candidates receive a ton of publicity in every primary campaign. Their nominees glide onto the November ballot as the only candidates with a chance of winning.

We propose two new primary election methods: Expanded Primaries and Neutral Open Primaries.

2) Traditional Choose 1 Voting aka Plurality Voting

Voters seldom vote for third-party or independent candidates because they may waste their vote, or worse, help elect the candidate they hate. The two-party system is entrenched. Third parties and independents are crushed.

Choose 1 Voting favors extreme candidates because moderate candidates will split votes.[11]

Vote splitting and spoilers plague all ranked voting systems, including Choose 1 and Ranked Choice Voting.

In a Choose 1 election, you can rank only one candidate as better than the others. You cannot rate the candidates.

Choose 1 offers no incentives for civil campaigns. It is always us against them. Each election becomes more hostile.

For these reasons, Choose 1 Voting is among the weakest voting methods for single winner elections. Only Random Choice and Dictatorship are worse.

Score Voting stands out as a major upgrade to Choose 1. You can rate every candidate 0 to 6. As a rated method, Score Voting prevents vote splitting and the spoiler effect.

Candidates must behave to avoid low scores. Our overheated campaigns will calm down.

3) No Proportional Representation

Your vote seldom counts if you are a Democrat in a Republican state, a Republican in a Democratic state, or a third party member in any state.

Only Proportional Representation can make every election competitive and every vote count. In a proportional race, your vote will help your party.

Proportional races let the voters decide how many seats each party wins.

Two parties cannot voice the will of American voters. Voters and politicians need more parties to choose from.

Fight Back

Elect reform candidates and enact Multi Party Election Reforms. We need candidates, social conservatives and liberals, who will work together on economic issues and election reform.

Conservatives believe big government is bad, liberals believe big corporations are bad. Governments and corporations share the same problem: they are large human organizations, bureaucracies, if you will. Watch your wallet whenever they get cozy. We need a better political system to keep them in line.

We need a better political system because many of us have lost faith in American democracy.

Basic Strategy

We win the primary elections of both parties with strong reform candidates.

Impossible? No. Status quo candidates will split the status quo vote. True reform will prevail. All candidates claim to support reform, but the policies of true reform will shine in the sun - and in the general election.

Do Not Give Up

Why dump democracy when we can make dramatic improvements with fair primaries, better voting methods, and Proportional Representation?

Voters and politicians will be free to join the parties of their choice. Third parties and independents will bring new ideas to our moribund system. Election campaigns will calm down.

If you are mad as hell and no longer willing to take it, please join us.

Our voices will be heard.
American Democracy will be greater than ever.
Voters will be in charge.

BTW: The donor class and their media lackeys may accuse us of inciting class warfare. Elites have been waging class warfare for eons. They really get their panties in a bunch when people fight back. They will be terrified when we revive representational democracy with new leaders and Multi Party Election Reform.

the Voters Army

We vote in the primaries of both parties
We report on policies that benefit working people and small business
We report on election reforms that give voters and politicians more choices
We report on leaders who represent us, not the donor class
We advocate for Economic Reform and Multi Party Election Reform

Vote for You!

If your party does not have a true reform candidate for an office in your district, please consider running for that office.
