Election Results: The Donor Class Wins Again
Our elections are rigged for two parties. Are you satisfied with these parties?
The donor class strategy is to win in the primaries of both parties. To fight back, we are recruiting citizens and candidates to vote and run in the Republican and Democratic primaries.
the Voters' Army
We are a peaceful army of American citizens working for a fair economy and fair elections. The Voters' Army is member-driven. You can support your favorite reforms and candidates.
We are looking for candidates who will cut corporate tax loopholes, untangle the regulation mess, and tax the rich. Politicians are not the problem; it is the system we put them in.
A Big Tent
We have a big tent: Plenty of room for pro life and pro choice voters, Republicans, Democrats, third party members, and independents. People who are tired of getting ripped off. We will prove that we can work together.
We disagree on social issues, but we are united in our goal to take back power from the billionaires and giant corporations who are running our nation into the ground. We will disagree about the best ways to to regain power, but that's ok. Democracy is how free people who disagree with each other make decisions.
Three Missions
News, Education, Advocacy
News
As a news site, Voters.Army covers three neglected areas:
Economic reforms for working Americans and small business.
Election methods fair to all candidates and parties.
Politicians who support reform.
Education
Voters.Army is bulding a collection of economic and election reforms. We discuss reform proposals in the comments of our articles and, coming soon, forums for economic reform and election reform. The quest for fair elections inspires our examination of voting methods and systems.
Two Voters' Army proposals, Neutral Open Primaries and MMP-USA proportional representation, are found below under Fair Elections.
Member Advocacy
As a member of the Voters' Army, you decide which reforms and politicians you support. We make it easy to promote your favorite reforms with social media and messages to your representatives. You can also recommend reforms and candidates at mailto:suggestions@voters.army.
Three Goals
- Make America Greater than Ever
- To Be Imitated: We will inspire other groups to focus on creating a fair economy and fair elections. Our political parties need to understand that allowing the super rich to run the economy is inefficient, unfair, and unacceptable to the American people.
- Demonstrate Our Power: We must prove to politicians that working for the people is the best way to win elections. For this, we seek new members in every corner of America. We have a big tent! Please tell your friends, enemies, and strangers about the Voters' Army.
Candidates & Officeholders - We Need You!
Please help us find the answers to the Big Questions: How can we help you and your like-minded colleagues? What are your favorite reforms? What campaign finance reforms will help create a fair system?
Our members help their favorite candidates with votes, social media love, messages of support sent to friends, and even contributions.
We support candidates who will cut corporate tax loopholes, untangle the regulatory mess, and tax the rich. We invite reform candidates to post on our site. It could be a post about your campaign or an article about your favorite reform. For more info, please contact us at services4pols@voters.army.
a Fair Economy
Capitalism works best when the rules favor us. Representational democracy gives us the power to change the rules. The engine of capitalism, fractional reserve banking can generate abundant financial capital from middle class savings. This makes capital affordable for small and medium-sized businesses. There is no need, nor reason, to coddle the rich.
Inequality is inefficient. We were told that lower taxes for the rich would expand the economic pie. It did not work; all we got was inflation and an economy geared to provide products and services for the wealthy. In a fair economy, we work for each other; in our current economy, we work for the rich.
Tax the Rich
To create an efficient balance of wealth and power, we support a modest tax increase on top 5% incomes, with larger increases in higher tax brackets. Taxes on large estates should be increased. A wealth tax should be imposed on fortunes in the top .5% (1/2 of the top 1%) of wealth.
Competition
Our economy needs more competition. To break up the corporate cartels, we must enact and enforce stronger anti-trust laws. We also need a graduated corporate tax designed to deter mergers and monopolies.
Fair Elections
Single Winner Elections
Our elections are rigged for two parties. If you vote for a third party or unaffiliated candidate you harm the major party candidate you prefer.
We are among the first media outlets to present the BTR-Score voting method for single winner elections. You can rate every candidate in a BTR-Score election. Vote splitting and spoilers are eliminated. As a Condorcet method it will always elect the candidate who "beats all" rivals one-on-one. In the rare election with no "beats all" winner, BTR-Score will transparently elect a deserving winner. BTR-Score is a major improvement over Choose 1 plurality voting and Ranked Choice Voting.
Neutral Open Primaries
Neutral Open Primaries (NOP), is our common sense version of blanket primaries designed to give third parties and unaffiliated candidates a fair chance and a real voice. NOP uses BTR-Score instead of Choose 1 plurality voting. BTR-Score is fair and reliable. Choose1 has major problems in every election with three or more candidates.
Proportional Representation
If you are a Republican in a blue state or district, a Democrat in a red state or district, or a third party supporter anywhere, your vote seldom counts. In a proportional election your vote counts because it helps your party win seats.
Two parties are not enough to represent 174,000,000 American voters. A party that wins 40% of the vote should win 40% of the seats. Proportional representation will better voice our will. Third parties will have a fair chance. Voters and politicians will have more parties to choose from.
MMP-USA
Parties win seats based on their share of the vote with our version of Mixed Member Proportional representation, MMP-USA. Following tradition, we elect one representative from each district. MMP-USA achieves accurate representation with a minimum number of at-large seats.

Volunteer - Local Teams
We want to have fun! We will have volunteer groups across America. Activities include recruiting new members in public places, brainstorming, and letter writing. We will also host activities purely for fun.
One requirement: You must be friendly with people who disagree with you on social issues. The coolest thing to do is to start a volunteer group in your community or help run an existing group. If you want to participate, please email: volunteers@voters.army.
Volunteer - Expertise
We need writers, lobbyists, and spokespersons. We need advice concerning social media, media relations, marketing, and our website. If you can lend a hand, please contact us at volunteers@voters.army.
